Ring Concierge began in New York City as a luxury private jeweler and has since scaled into a successful e-commerce business and private jeweler accessible to the mass. Nicole Wegman, founder of Ring Concierge, has strategically utilized social media to disrupt the historically close-knit, male-dominated diamond industry to create a jewelry business for women, by women. Founded in 2013, Ring Concierge has grown exponentially over the past 6 years and continues to expand its team by opening an office in Rochester.

About Role 

Ring Concierge is a rapidly growing female-founded fine jewelry company specializing in customized engagement rings and fine jewelry. This role is focused on inventory management and order fulfillment for our e-commerce department. The ideal candidate has the ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfillment 
    • Utilize order management system to review orders and update/maintain stock levels
    • Allocate and assign jewelry to incoming website orders
    • Oversee any repairs, resizing, etc needed to fulfill open orders or returns
    • Oversee fulfillment of website orders + VOW orders
    • Manage packaging supply levels 
    • Keep track of all open orders
    • Communicate any order delays to customer service team members
    • Communicate any quality issues with Operations Manager
    • Oversee Rochester fulfillment team and assist in packing orders when needed
  • Inventory Management 
    • Check-in purchase orders upon arrival 
    • Oversee Quality Control 
    • Perform inventory counts and validate against vendor invoices, ensuring discrepancies, shortages or damages are reported immediately
    • Report any and all price discrepancies upon checking in inventory from outside vendors
    • Keep track of all inventory and take bi-weekly physical counts to be reported monthly
    • Manage inventory locations and shipments between the Rochester and NYC office

About You

  • Keen eye for details and attentive to the fulfillment process at start and finish 
  • Clear communication skills
  • Must be highly organized, proactive and ability to prioritize
  • Understands working in a fast-paced environment with ability to multi-task without sacrificing details or quality of work
  • Team player, can-do attitude, no task too small - assists and supports colleagues as needed 
  • Continuously adapt as the business evolves and grows 

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce operations
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Must be proficient in Excel and Mac computers, Office and Google Suite preferred

Details

  • Full-time role located in Rochester, NY
  • Office Hours: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, with the knowledge that we have a startup culture and your day may extend past listed office hours (weekly schedule subject to change during sales, busy season and events with the possibility of weekends during these periods may be required to meet role requirements)
